121 luminaires in a network are linked by a single high voltage wire. The network must include at least one Master, but may include additional Master and Satellite luminaires up to a maximum of 30 total luminaires in a network. When any Master in the network senses motion, all luminaires in the network go to high mode, returning to low mode when the area is vacant, and no Master detects motion.

Duration of time after motion detection to return to low mode is set as the factory standard to 5 minutes, and the motion sensitivity is set as the factory standard to maximum. New options allow for additional factory settings on 121–MRM Master luminaires for duration and motion sensitivity.
